GETTING STARTED

CUSTOMER CARE

Here are some tips on how to care for your new piece:

To preserve the authentic ankara feel, it is highly recommended that you dry clean your custom garment and not launder at home. Washing at home may cause a texture change and loss of vibrancy. With darker prints, hand wash in cold water. Hang dry. Press with cool iron on the wrong side only. Do not bleach. Hang dry. 

PAYMENT FORMS

Doesn’t this depend on what form of payment Shopify accepts? Major credit cards and Paypal are acceptable for me.

PRODUCTION + SHIPPING & HANDLING

ORDER PROCESSING

Please allow 14-21 business days for your order to be processed. 

CUSTOM ORDERS:

All custom pieces are made to order. Production time is 21-30 business days. If your fabric choice needs to be ordered, this will add an additional 7 business days to your delivery. Please let us know if you are interested in having your order arrive sooner by taking advantage of our rush order option.  

SHIPPING + DELIVERY

All orders will be shipped at a flat rate of 8.95.

USPS Ground Shipping: allow 7-10 business days from the receipt of shipping notification to receive your purchase.

Priority Shipping (when applicable): allow up to 2-5  business days from the receipt of shipping notification to receive your purchase.

Rush Order (additional charge): 

Upgrade to rush shipping and get your item pushed to the front of the line and get priority or express shipping. Your items will ship in 1-5 days. If you have more than two items, you must purchase additional rush orders options. Each listing covers two (2) items. 

Overnight Shipping: Currently we DO NOT offer overnight shipping.

***NOTE: Production and Shipping times vary and are listed on the "details" tab of EACH item. During the holiday season and/or times of high demand, some orders may be delayed due to increased volume so please allow extra time. It is your responsibility to look at this before making your purchase.

SHIPPING ADDRESSES + RETURNED PACKAGES

Please ensure your shipping address is correct. Once you receive your tracking number, your shipping address cannot be changed. As the customer, you are responsible for entering your address correctly. If a package is returned to us because of the wrong address, the customer must pay to have it reshipped.

DELIVERY ISSUES

Please check your tracking number for updates on delivery. If your tracking says Delivered, but you have not received it, contact your local USPS office, and open a missing package case first. Please check with your neighbors and/or leasing office (if you live in an apartment complex) if they may have received on your behalf.

SHIPPING DAMAGES

Damage or loss incurred during shipment is the delivery company's responsibility. Claims must be properly filed with the delivering carrier. Although the addressee must initiate damage claims against the shipper, we will be happy to assist you.

LOST/STOLEN PACKAGES

We are not responsible for lost or stolen packages. Unfortunately, the USPS does lose packages from time to time. Please note, once your shipping confirmation/tracking number is sent to you, we no longer have it in our possession, and we have no influence as to what happens after it makes it to the post office. We reserve the right to determine when/if an order will be re-sent depending on the circumstances and size of the order.  

RETURNS/EXCHANGES

We will accept your exchange as long as ALL of the following apply:

  1. Piece is damaged or defective.
  2. Return is requested within 5 days of delivery (returned package must be postmarked).
  3. The merchandise must be returned unused, in it’s original condition and include the original packaging.
  4. Merchandise is not a sale or clearance item. 

All exchanges are subject to a return shipping fee, paid for by the buyer. Shipping costs are refunded if there has been an error with the order. We will process your exchange within 5 business days of receiving the package. 

When returning items, it is recommended that you add insurance and tracking to your package. We are not responsible for any lost/damaged packages.  

We do not offer returns or exchanges on custom pieces.

Q: How long will my order take to reach me?

A: Allow 7-10 business days from the receipt of shipping notification to receive your purchase. Please note that delivery times may increase during the holidays.

Q: When will my order be processed?

A: Please allow 14-21 business days for your order to be processed. 

Q: Order tracking and history?

A: Once your order has been placed, you will receive a receipt via email. After your order has been processed, you will receive another email with the tracking number. You can view the status of your order by visiting usps.com and entering your tracking number in the specified field. Tracking information may not be available up to 24 business hours after the order has shipped.
